When a Korea concert is canceled, rescheduled or moved, verify the change on both the organizer’s official channel and the designated ticket seller. Save the original notice, the correction notice and your order before clicking anything. Then follow the stated ticket process. Flight, hotel and ground-transport costs are separate contracts and may not be covered by the ticket refund.
Identify what actually changed
| Change | Ticket question | Evidence to save |
|---|---|---|
| Full cancellation | Automatic refund or customer action? | Cancellation notice, order, paid amount and refund method |
| New date or time | Does the original ticket remain valid, and is an opt-out refund offered? | Old and new schedules plus acceptance deadline |
| New venue | Are seats transferred, canceled or rebooked? | Old and new venue, seat treatment and new-sale eligibility |
| Partial program change | Did the organizer announce a refund right? | Exact lineup or benefit correction and seller terms |
| Postponement without a date | Is the order held, or can the buyer request a refund? | Current status, promised update date and inquiry number |
The official N.Flying Seoul venue-change notice is a useful case study. The organizer said the venue layout made fair seat transfer impossible, so existing reservations would be canceled and a new sale held; it also described automatic refund processing. The later rebooking notice supplied the replacement ticket process. That solution belongs to that event. A different venue change may preserve tickets or offer another remedy.
Create an evidence folder before the pages change
- Original artist or organizer announcement and URL.
- Correction notice showing publisher, publication time and exact change.
- Ticket-seller product page and refund or rebooking instructions.
- Order number, performance date, seats, total paid and payment method.
- Cancellation or replacement-order confirmation.
- Separate flight, hotel, rail and insurance bookings with their own terms.
Follow the ticket notice before changing travel
- Confirm whether the ticket is automatically canceled, remains valid or needs an opt-in decision.
- Record any deadline for accepting the new date, requesting a refund or joining a priority rebooking.
- Complete the action only in the designated ticket account.
- Wait for a ticket-side confirmation, then track the refund or new booking separately.
- Contact each travel provider with the official event notice and ask what its own fare or cancellation terms allow.
If organizer and seller pages disagree
Do not cancel through an old page. Save both versions, check for a later timestamp and contact the designated seller using the order number. Ask whether the order is valid, whether action is required and which notice controls. If the event is only rumored to be canceled, keep the booking unchanged until a first-party notice appears. Fan posts and venue-calendar edits are not enough.
Separate the ticket loss from the trip loss
A ticket refund does not automatically reimburse nonrefundable flights, hotels, visas, insurance or local transport. Contact those providers promptly, give them the official notice and ask about changes, credits or insured-event documentation. Do not state that the organizer owes these costs unless its notice or applicable authority expressly says so.
What this checklist cannot decide
BeforeKorea cannot determine a legal entitlement, approve a refund or promise travel compensation. The organizer’s correction and the seller’s order record control the ticket process. For a missing foreign-card credit after the seller confirms cancellation, use the refund evidence steps.
Contact travel providers with one consistent record
When asking an airline, hotel or insurer for flexibility, provide the organizer’s correction URL, the event name, original date and the date you received notice. State exactly what changed and ask which option is available under that provider’s contract: refund, date change, credit or no remedy. Keep each answer and deadline separate; one company’s exception does not bind another.
Avoid editing screenshots or translating a notice in a way that changes its meaning. If a provider cannot read Korean, include the official page and a plain translation marked as your translation. Preserve the original. This gives the provider usable evidence without implying that BeforeKorea or the organizer has approved a travel claim.
If the changed event was sold through YES24, the YES24 Global FAQ supplies the platform’s support and refund context, but the organizer’s incident notice still decides whether the order remains valid or is canceled.
Last checked: August 7, 2026. During an incident, recheck official pages daily until the ticket status is final.
Classify the organizer-initiated change before acting
When the organizer changes the show, preserve the first-party notice and the designated seller instruction before using the ordinary cancel button. A full cancellation, new date, new venue, time adjustment, lineup change and postponement without a date can produce different ticket states. The useful answer is the remedy written for this event, not a general prediction.
| Evidence layer | Question it answers | Action when unclear |
|---|---|---|
| Organizer or agency notice | What changed, when and why? | Check the verified artist or agency notice and later corrections |
| Designated seller notice | Does the order remain valid, cancel automatically or require a choice? | Open the order through the seller named in the organizer notice |
| Order record | Which performance, seat, amount and payment method are affected? | Do not use a different account or another buyer’s screenshot |
| Correction timeline | Which instruction is newest? | Save URLs and timestamps, then ask the designated seller |
| Travel contracts | What can the airline, hotel, rail company or insurer do? | Ask each provider under its own terms |
Use the seller’s current help and event-notice list or the equivalent designated platform page to connect the notice to the exact order. A platform’s general cancellation page, such as the YES24 Global order page, explains where an ordinary order action lives; it does not replace an incident-specific organizer remedy.
Do not destroy the incident remedy with a premature self-cancellation
- Save the original event details, order and first correction.
- Read whether the order will be held, moved, canceled automatically or requires an opt-in or opt-out.
- Record the remedy deadline in KST and the publication timestamp of later corrections.
- Complete only the action specified for the exact event and keep its confirmation.
- Contact airline, hotel, rail and insurance providers separately with the official URL; do not imply that a ticket refund automatically covers travel loss.
If no first-party notice exists, label the situation unconfirmed and leave the order unchanged while checking official channels. If pages disagree, preserve both, identify the newer timestamp and ask the designated seller whether the order remains valid. BeforeKorea does not decide legal liability or compensation.
