Seoul Public Reservation Login Failed with Naver or Kakao?

If Naver or Kakao opens Seoul Public Service Reservation but the booking still stops, return to the official login page and check the integrated account first. The current page says a first-time user must join as a Seoul integrated member. A Naver or Kakao login can make reservations only after the user has logged in through the integrated account at least once.

Nonmember identity login is not a workaround. The same page says nonmember users have been unable to reserve services since April 23, 2024. Do not keep creating social accounts or assume that a successful Naver or Kakao sign-in proves the reservation account is ready.

Start from the Foreigner Member option

Open Seoul’s official integrated-member signup page and choose 외국인회원 (Foreigner Member) rather than the membership option for Korean nationals. The page separates foreigner membership from adult Korean, child and corporate membership.

The reservation login page names i-PIN, mobile identity verification, public certificates and private certificates as identity methods used for integrated membership. It does not say that an overseas mobile number will pass the phone-verification route. Use only an identity method that the current official screen offers and that you can legitimately complete.

If the identity popup fails inside the Naver, Daum, Google or KakaoTalk app, switch to a regular browser before concluding that your identity was rejected. Seoul’s signup page warns that in-app browsers can cause compatibility errors and recommends a browser such as Chrome, Edge, Whale or Samsung Internet.

A Korean number, SMS reception and Korean real-name verification are different capabilities. Our Korea phone number for apps guide explains why a tourist SIM or eSIM does not automatically solve an identity screen.

If none of the displayed verification methods works

Stop at the failed stage and record its exact wording. The login page currently separates its support routes:

  • 02-2126-4519 for Seoul integrated-member login questions; and
  • 02-2126-4647 for Naver/Kakao login questions and the public-reservation system.

Ask which supported account route applies to the screen you reached. The pages checked for this article do not promise English service, foreign-number verification, account approval or reservation by telephone. A support call can clarify the route; it does not replace the required identity check.

The official site also has an English interface. It can make service discovery easier, but changing the interface language does not change the integrated-account rule.

Read the service listing before looking for an offline route

Account access and service eligibility are separate. Open the exact listing and check its audience, application period, service dates, selection method and reservation method before trying to solve the login problem.

Treat a facility phone number as an inquiry route unless that listing explicitly permits booking by phone. For example, a Seoul Craft Museum workshop listing labels its reservation method as Internet and separately displays an inquiry phone number. It is a foreign-group program, not an individual walk-in alternative. The contact does not turn the service into a phone booking or establish that places remain available.

If your listing gives a facility contact, ask whether that specific service has an authorized in-person, telephone or other accessible route. Do not assume one exists. The site’s Facility Contact search can help locate the contact attached to a listed service.

A login is not a completed reservation

After account access works, return to the exact service rather than a general search result. Confirm that the booking appears in My Reservation Details and save the service name, date, applicant details and final status. A social login, identity check or submitted form alone does not prove that a place was confirmed.

If the service is close to its deadline, tell the system support desk and the listed facility which screen blocked you and when. Do not submit duplicate applications through multiple accounts unless the responsible facility tells you to do so.
