If you are late for a Haeundae Sky Capsule booking, take your actual boarding ticket to the correct departure station and ask staff whether you can still board. Blueline Park’s Sky Capsule FAQ says late riders may be taken after passengers with reservations, but boarding can be restricted after a delay. That is a possibility, not a seat on the next capsule. You cannot simply change the reserved time; a different time normally means cancelling and booking again.
Before you pay again, establish whether you bought a direct Sky Capsule ticket, a Beach Train ticket, a combined package, or a voucher from another seller. Those records lead to different lookup and cancellation paths.
Check the QR, product and station
Open the order confirmation and find the product name, boarding date and window, direction, departure station, seller, and ticket or voucher number. Sky Capsule runs between Mipo and Cheongsapo; the operator’s course page lists each direction separately. A Beach Train reservation or the train part of a package does not give you a Sky Capsule place at a different time.
For a ticket bought on Blueline Park’s own site, its reservation guide says the mobile ticket is sent by KakaoTalk or email. The QR code is the boarding pass; the barcode is for a parking discount. If you have only a payment message, search the delivery channel you supplied and use the operator’s confirmation page. Choose the lookup for the product and departure point you booked: package, Beach Train, and Sky Capsule have separate paths. Do not cancel an order simply because the QR is not in the first message you opened.
If you bought through another site, open that seller’s order and check whether it is already a timed boarding ticket or a voucher that still needs a reservation. Blueline Park names official ticket vendors, but being listed there does not make the operator’s direct-booking refund terms your seller’s terms. Keep the seller order number, voucher, and any issued boarding QR together. Ask that seller how a missing QR, unused voucher, or failed redemption is handled.
Ask about late boarding before you surrender your booking
If you can still reach the correct station, show staff the ticket and explain which window you missed. The operator’s late-arrival FAQ says reserved riders go first and warns that boarding may be restricted after 30 minutes of the boarding time. Treat that warning as a reason to ask staff immediately, not as a guaranteed grace period. Do not treat the printed window as an open ticket for any later departure, or an offer from staff to check availability as a confirmed seat.
Check the current operating information as well. Heavy weather or safety work can interrupt or alter service, and an on-site ticket is only an option if stock remains. If you hold a package, have staff identify which part is still usable before you give up either leg.
Use the cancellation route for the seller you paid
For a direct booking, the operator’s confirmation and cancellation page says a completed reservation cannot be moved to another time: cancel it, then make a new reservation if the replacement is available. It also says a missed boarding time is not refundable. Check the cancellation screen and available new slots before you release a valid reservation; replacement stock can disappear.
Voucher reservations have an additional restriction. In its ticket-voucher notice, Blueline Park says the cancellation window for boarding dates from January 2026 ends three days before boarding. The seller’s own order may have a different payment, refund, or redemption process. If you are already late on the travel day, do not assume you can reverse the voucher purchase or receive a direct-ticket refund. Ask the seller and operator which record each can actually change. For direct tickets, the FAQ describes a fee exception for an online ticket bought on the riding day, while the general cancellation table lists a same-day fee. Check the amount shown for your exact reservation and ask the operator if the exception applies; the general table alone does not settle that case.
If no Sky Capsule place can be confirmed, keep the outing flexible. You can explore the public area around Mipo or Cheongsapo on foot without another Blueline booking. For a different onward route, start from the exact station on the operator’s access map and check the live route in a Korea map app. A Beach Train ticket is a separate purchase and may also be sold out; a taxi or other local transport avoids the Sky Capsule reservation system, but needs its own route and payment check.
