Keep the box, attached label and contents before starting a report. Photograph the parcel as received, then compare the received items with the seller’s itemized shipment record. A partial-loss photograph cannot show an absent object: record what remains and identify the expected versus received quantity. Do not rearrange, repair or dispose of the packaging before preserving that evidence.
Capture the shipment and damage together
CJ’s parcel-incident intake requires a readable attached waybill, outer-package condition, opened packing/cushioning, affected contents, matching transaction proof and, for payment processing, relevant bank-account proof. Photos are required for damage, spoilage and partial loss. It warns that insufficient evidence, an undamaged outer package or a receipt for a different item can affect acceptance.
Photograph all sides before removing the label. Capture the inner arrangement and cushioning, then individual damage or the received item count. If the carton is already gone, keep the records that remain and explain the gap; recreating the packaging would misrepresent the incident. Ask CJ which further evidence it can assess.
Reconcile the item and the sender’s records
The form asks for the waybill, reporting party, incident type, date and explanation. Contract and sender acceptance details affect processing; submission is review, not an approved payout. A matching receipt should show item/quantity, transaction date, party and amount.
Put the order, payment record, delivery record and photographs side by side. An order for two items does not alone establish that both were in this particular box. Ask the merchant or sender for the packing list and consignment details, and ask who should file. Keep an item-value record separate from any proposed compensation amount.
If the form or payment details block you
CJ lists delivery support at 1588-1255; ask for the appropriate incident route and missing evidence with the waybill ready. The online form requires a mobile contact and contains bank/refund fields. It does not establish foreign-number, foreign-account or English-support availability.
Tell support the exact blocked field; ask whether the sender can supply the contract records and which usable contact/payment route applies. Do not enter invented identity or account details. Preserve your case reference and replies outside the form: the page limits direct viewing of submitted incidents to one year, which is not a resolution deadline. No filing, individual eligibility or compensation outcome was tested for this guide.
