Do not treat a booked court, a member card and a day-entry ticket as the same permission. At Seoul’s Seonam sports facility, the published tennis and table-tennis rules prohibit handing a reservation to someone else. At Anyang’s Seoksu Sports Center, the rental and entry guide separates member access, onsite badminton day entry and basketball rental by an approved team. Check the named facility and access object before paying or accepting a friend’s slot.
Seonam booking belongs to its named user
Seonam’s official facility guide warns against transfer of both tennis and table-tennis reservations. It says staff may check the user’s identity and that a detected improper use can cause cancellation and restrictions. If the booker cannot attend, use the facility’s own cancellation or support route and ask whether a new reservation is possible. A screenshot or message from the booker does not make the recipient the authorized reservation holder.
Seoksu separates three different entry routes
Seoksu says its member card is non-transferable, while day entry can be possible without a member card. Its guide directs badminton day entry to onsite reception. That is not a borrowed membership: ask the center about the current session, capacity, payment and identification before travelling. Do not assume that the absence of a card also removes every registration or admission condition.
For basketball court rental, Seoksu uses an online application only after a team of at least seven members is registered and approved at its second-floor desk. A friend’s card or an individual day ticket does not substitute for that team approval. If the booking system blocks you, ask Seoksu which prerequisite is missing before trying another person’s account. Neither facility page proves that a foreign visitor can complete a particular signup or identity check.
These are two operators’ rules, not a nationwide sports-facility transfer policy. Check the exact venue’s current guide and the named reservation before arranging players or travel. If the operator cannot confirm a lawful change of user, plan a new booking or a separate day-entry route where that facility actually offers one.
Seonam and Seoksu facility guidance checked October 5, 2026 KST; no booking or identity check was performed.
