Visiting Oedo with Wahyeon? Plan to Return on the Same Boat

A Wahyeon Oedo cruise is a timed excursion, not an open one-way drop-off. The operator’s FAQ says visitors spend about one hour and thirty minutes on Oedo and must leave on the boat that brought them. It also says overnight stays on the island are unavailable. If you want to linger after your companions return, choose a plan that does not rely on using this booking as a flexible return ticket.

Compare your intended visit with the booked excursion

Before paying, identify the exact Wahyeon sailing and ask what return time that trip assigns. The excursion’s return is tied to its boat, rather than a choice of any later departure. Do not assume a friend on a different sailing or another operator can take you back. If your group wants different amounts of time ashore, resolve that mismatch before booking instead of planning to split up for separate return boats.

Before leaving your arrival boat, ask the crew for the meeting point and boarding time for your own return boat before walking away. Keep the ticket and the boat or sailing details with you. If you become separated from your group or cannot find the return point, ask the nearest staff promptly for instructions. The FAQ does not establish an automatic later-boat transfer or rescue if the assigned departure is missed.

Budget for the separate island admission

The same FAQ says the Oedo admission ticket is bought separately at the ferry ticket office when the boarding ticket is issued, even if the boat was reserved online. Check the current amount and payment method with that ticket office before travel. A cruise reservation alone is not proof that island admission has been paid.

These conditions come from the named Wahyeon booking channel. If another seller issued your ticket, check that seller’s actual itinerary, admission treatment and return conditions rather than assuming all Oedo cruises use identical arrangements.
