SEOULDAL Booking and Weather: Check Flight Status Before You Go

A SEOULDAL reservation is not a weather clearance for the balloon. Seoul’s current SEOULDAL service page says strong wind and heavy rain can change operations in real time. Before travelling to Yeouido, check the city’s schedule-update route and the date and time on your actual booking. Keep the seller’s order open: ask that seller what its change or refund terms allow for your purchase.

Check the city status and the order as two records

The city lists ordinary hours as Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 10 p.m., with the last flight at 9:30 p.m. It lists Monday as closed. Its August–October 2026 Friday and Saturday extension is date-bound, so do not carry those later hours into another season. Even within listed hours, capacity and boarding depend on the weather decision at the site. The page directs readers to schedule updates; check them again near departure rather than treating the time printed on a voucher as the final operating announcement.

On the order, identify the seller, visit date, booked slot, passenger count and any cancellation deadline. A payment receipt, reservation confirmation and admission or boarding decision are different things. If the booking arrived through a reseller, use that order’s seller and reference number for a change or refund question. The city’s operating notice does not establish a blanket refund for every reseller voucher or prove that another slot is available.

If the balloon is delayed or stopped

Seoul says visitors who cannot board immediately may need to wait until operation becomes possible or visit another day. Ask on-site staff for the current flight decision and whether your specific booking can still be used. If a later date is necessary, ask the original seller how its order can be changed or reviewed before buying a second ticket. Preserve the status notice and the seller’s response with the order reference; a weather delay alone does not show that a replacement reservation or refund has been granted.

If a phone or seller login fails while you are there, staff can explain the current operating state, but that is separate from changing a third-party booking. Seek the seller’s published support route for the order decision. Make another plan for the day only after distinguishing “not flying now” from “my booking has been changed.”
