Korea Tour Card Sales Ended: Check Existing Holder Benefits

Do not plan to buy the original Korea Tour Card. TMONEY says sales have ended. If you already hold one, identify the product printed on it before comparing its remaining partner benefits with a card currently on sale.

Start with the product name

The current TMONEY foreign-travel card page separates the discontinued Korea Tour Card from current product names. It says the old card can no longer be purchased.

That is different from the TMONEY Travel Card and TMONEY TRAVEL CARD+ products described on the same page. Do not use those current names interchangeably with the old card when checking a feature, purchase point or support question.

What TMONEY says existing holders retain

TMONEY says people who already have a Korea Tour Card can receive affiliate benefits equivalent to those of the regular TMONEY Travel Card. This is a partner-benefit statement, not a promise that every shop participates or that every listed benefit will be available when you arrive.

Before visiting a partner, check the current benefit, participating location, conditions and redemption method. Show the exact card name when asking the partner. If the staff cannot confirm the legacy-card benefit, do not treat the old notice as proof of a discount or purchase entitlement.

What the notice does not convert

The page does not say an old balance or account migrates to another product. It also does not say the Korea Tour Card gains the payment, app or account functions of TMONEY TRAVEL CARD+ or any newly sold card.

Keep these questions separate:

  • Can this existing card still perform the ordinary transit or payment task you need?
  • Does a named partner currently honor the legacy holder benefit?
  • Do you instead need to buy a current product for a feature the old card never had?

If a partner cannot confirm the benefit, ask for the undiscounted price and an accepted payment method before paying. Keep the card and any refusal or failed-payment record for an inquiry to TMONEY about that exact legacy product. The public page does not state a universal expiry, refund, reissue, balance-conversion or replacement path, so do not buy a second product on the assumption that value will transfer.
