If you booked on the Yellow Balloon City Bus website, collect the ticket at its DDP office before trying to board. The operator does not allow an online ticket to be collected at another stop, even though some day-route walk-up passengers may buy and board elsewhere when seats remain.
Choose the row that matches your ticket
The current Yellow Balloon City Bus guide separates online pickup, day walk-up, night-bus sales and package products. These are this operator’s instructions. If you bought through a reseller, preserve its voucher and check its collection instructions with the seller; do not assume every Seoul city-tour operator or voucher uses the same route.
| Your ticket | Where to go and what to check |
|---|---|
| Operator website booking | Collect at DDP. Staff confirms the booking and chosen boarding date. |
| Day-route walk-up | Buy at a route stop if seats remain and onboard sales are still open. The guide lists card and cash. If full, wait for the next available bus. |
| Night-bus purchase | DDP only, from 17:00. Quantity is limited; arriving does not guarantee a ticket. |
| Namsan cable car or N Seoul Tower package | Buy online, then collect at DDP before use. Do not go straight to the attraction with only the online record. |
Online booking is a DDP pickup record
Keep the booking name, confirmation, selected date and product together. At DDP, ask staff to confirm the booking and boarding date before leaving the ticket office.
For the night bus, the operator instructs passengers to collect the ticket 30 minutes before departure and says boarding begins 30 minutes before departure. Plan around that DDP process rather than arriving at another stop with the online record.
Walk-up rules do not convert an online booking
Day-route walk-up purchase at other stops is conditional on seats. The guide says onboard sales end at 15:30; after that cutoff, use the DDP ticket office rather than assuming the driver can sell a ticket.
This walk-up route does not turn another stop into an online-ticket exchange point. It also does not guarantee the next bus, a particular seat, foreign-card acceptance or purchase after stock closes.
If the expected channel is unavailable
If staff cannot find the online booking, preserve the confirmation and ask DDP staff which booking field is missing before paying again. The operator lists tbus@ybtour.com for inquiries; include the booking reference, product and date, and ask the original seller if its voucher differs. If a day bus is full, wait for a confirmed available bus or choose another transport plan. If night tickets or packages are sold out, the guide provides no guaranteed alternate seller.
The operator’s channel rules do not establish a refund, date change or exception. Resolve those questions with the seller for the exact product before treating a failed pickup as a cancellation.
