Describe the physical task before opening an ordinary repair request. LG’s current guidance separates removal only, installation only and a complete removal-plus-transport-plus-installation service. A refrigerator that works but needs to move has a different service route from a refrigerator with a fault.
Which task do you need?
Record the full model number, current installation type, removal address, destination address and whether transport is needed.
- Removal only: use the removal branch. A general built-in product needs the built-in removal route.
- Installation only: use this when the refrigerator is already at the destination. LG says an in-home move and installation-only work for a water-purifier refrigerator require the LX Pantos logistics route.
- Full relocation: removal, transport and installation together use LX Pantos. Some side-by-side built-in models need a specialised built-in branch.
The current LX Pantos form does not accept removal plus transport without installation or transport plus installation without removal as online service types. If the real task has one of those shapes, ask LG which supported route fits before arranging a separate mover.
Check the product exclusions before scheduling
LG’s refrigerator guidance says relocation cannot be provided for another manufacturer’s product, a commercial refrigerator, a household wine cellar or an ordinary built-in product. Product and model still control the answer; the shared support page may contain details that do not apply to every refrigerator.
Do not make a same-day plan. The refrigerator page says a same-day visit is unavailable for relocation installation. LG’s broader Best Care page also warns that long-distance removal and installation may occur on different days. Sunday relocation service is not offered on the observed reservation route.
What does the online route require?
LG identifies LX Pantos as its relocation partner on the Best Care installation/removal page. Its reservation link redirects to the LX Pantos intake form.
That form requires agreement to its mandatory terms, age 14 or older, identity verification, the applicant’s name, mobile and telephone details, and the removal and installation addresses. Those visible fields do not establish that a foreign phone will pass identity verification or that a particular payment method will be accepted.
If you are an LG subscription customer, the visible form also requires you to look up and select that subscription status. Built-in refrigerators, built-in washing machines and gas dryers cannot be booked through the online form; it directs those cases to LG customer service at 1544-7777.
Confirm the visit and cost before the move
Ask the route to confirm the model, service type, both addresses, desired date and whether specialist equipment is needed. Distance, transport, ladder equipment, installation materials and conditions found on site can change the cost. Removal-only and installation-only requests made together may involve different installers and separate payments. Ask about the visit fee as well: the intake route says a customer-caused cancellation after the installer arrives, including unsuitable site conditions or an objection to the quote, can incur a charge.
If online identity verification fails, ask LG at 1544-7777 how the actual customer can submit this service request, with the model, task and addresses ready. The Best Care page lists weekday contact hours of 09:00 to 18:00. If your phone cannot dial the short number, a trusted person can help place the inquiry call; keep the real customer’s identity and order details, and ask what authorization LG needs. Neither that help nor the phone route establishes English service, verification bypass or booking approval.
Keep the accepted request and installer contact. A displayed calendar date or estimated amount is not a completed booking or final site quote, so confirm a suitable booking before relying on LG to complete the move.
