Use E-Cycle’s official reservation-number recovery page if you can receive messages on the phone registered for the pickup; if you cannot, contact 1599-0903 about the existing record. The current recovery page takes that phone number and sends reservation numbers to it if matching records exist. It does not offer a name or booking-number alternative on that screen.
What happens when you resend the number?
The official reservation-number recovery page warns that resending resets all reservation numbers booked under the same phone number. Before using it, identify every active pickup connected to that phone and be ready to replace the old numbers in saved notes.
The page does not establish that a foreign number will be accepted or that an inaccessible SMS can be bypassed. If the registered phone cannot receive the message, use the official inquiry line at 1599-0903. Its listed hours are weekdays 08:00–18:00, with a 12:00–13:00 lunch break; it closes on weekends, public holidays, May 1, January 1 and the Seollal and Chuseok holiday periods.
An inquiry is not a guaranteed identity bypass. Explain which reservation is involved and ask what verification route is available for the actual record.
Has dispatch already started?
E-Cycle’s current FAQ says a pickup can be changed or cancelled through the website, mobile service or call center. Once next-day dispatch has already been arranged, the change must go through the call center or the assigned collector.
That is a dispatch-state rule, not a universal previous-day cutoff. Check the reservation’s current state before choosing the route. Keep the appliance, address and access details together so the operator can identify the correct pickup.
Will the appliance be ready for collection?
A broken appliance may be collected if it remains complete. A separated part, dismantled or cut appliance, or fire-damaged appliance is outside the default collection scope. Built-in products, air conditioners, wall-mounted televisions and other fixed installations must already be removed and placed in a condition that can be collected.
When only stairs are available, the FAQ says large refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and displays of 70 inches or more must be placed outside the building or on a step-free first floor. This service does not promise upper-floor hauling or removal from an installation.
Arrange any needed backup and erasure before handing over a data-bearing device. Pickup confirmation is not proof that its personal data has been erased; the pages checked here do not establish a data-erasure service.
If a working refrigerator is being kept and moved rather than discarded, use a moving-and-installation service instead. This LG refrigerator moving guide explains that separate task; it does not convert an E-Cycle reservation into a relocation booking.
