If you have already paid for an Npay order and entered the wrong hotel address, open that order’s details now. An address change you can make yourself before seller confirmation may need the seller or external mall later. Once shipment starts, a change may no longer be possible. Do not place another order just to test whether the first one can be edited.
The address button depends on where you bought the item
Npay’s delivery-address guidance separates Smart Store orders from purchases at external malls:
- Smart Store: Before the seller confirms the order,
결제대기중(payment pending) or결제완료(paid) can show Order details → Delivery address → Change. Save the corrected address through Complete change. - External mall: The buyer’s Npay address edit is available before seller confirmation at
입금확인중(deposit being confirmed) or결제완료(paid). After that, contact the mall where you purchased the item.
Reopen the order details after saving and check the destination shown there. A hotel name alone is not enough: compare the actual street address and any room or guest detail you entered with your booking record.
When the seller has taken control
For a Smart Store order marked 상품준비중 (preparing the product), Npay says only the seller can change the address. Contact the seller directly, give the order number and corrected destination, and ask whether the shipment can still be changed. For an external-mall order past the buyer-edit stage, contact that mall about dispatch and its available change route. Npay warns that a shipment already under way may be too late to redirect.
Keep the original order state, the address shown, and the seller’s reply together. A message asking for a change is not confirmation that the parcel will go to the new destination. If you cannot enter the account, use the original seller or mall contact shown in your purchase records and Npay’s official help route; the Npay help footer lists 1588-3819 for customer support. That number is not a promise of English service or an account bypass.
If you need to turn an exchange into a return
The Npay exchange-to-return guidance uses the product’s movement, not just the date of your request:
- Not yet sent back: Withdraw the exchange request in Npay payment history or the order, then submit a return request.
- Already sent back: Ask the seller to convert the exchange to a return.
- Replacement already dispatched: A fresh return request is needed; the earlier exchange cannot simply be converted at that point. Npay says to act before the exchange is marked complete if you are returning the replacement.
Return requested, but no courier has come?
Npay’s return-process guidance says an automatic courier booking can be tracked in the return details. It gives up to two to three business days for a courier visit and notes that some couriers may have difficulty collecting. If pickup is delayed, ask the booked courier or seller to request collection again. Check the seller’s return address before handing over the parcel.
When the item reaches the seller, the seller inspects it and processes cancellation and refund if there is no problem. If refund processing is delayed after collection, contact the seller. Pickup, seller receipt, inspection and the payment refund are separate stages; the time for the payment to return also depends on the payment method.
These steps concern an order you can already identify. They do not establish that a foreign account or card can use every Npay checkout, that a seller must accept a change, or where a refund will land. If payment or identity verification stopped you before an order existed, use the Npay verification guide. If the item has not arrived but the order is already marked 구매확정 (purchase confirmed), use the purchase-confirmed nonreceipt route instead of these earlier order controls.
