Contact the Gimhae property’s front desk or operations office using the property contact in your booking confirmation before going back or arranging a parcel. The Lotte Hotels & Resorts Gimhae room guide says found items are kept at the property’s first-floor front desk or operations office. Staff make a simple match using the stay and item before a matched item can be sent by receiver-paid parcel. Finding no public listing does not tell you whether that desk has your item.
First find out whether the resort has a match
Give Lotte Gimhae your stay dates, room or reservation details you still have, where you last saw the item, and a description that distinguishes it from similar belongings. Ask staff to check the front desk or operations office and tell you whether they have a matching item. If they do, ask what further proof they need before releasing it. The guide describes a basic stay-and-item check; it does not publish one document list for every claimant.
If your booking confirmation has no usable contact, Lotte’s reservation contact list lists Gimhae at +82-1588-4355. Ask that reservation contact how to reach the property’s front desk or operations office. This is the published reservation contact. Confirm the item with the custodian separately; the listing does not establish English assistance or whether the number is reachable from your overseas carrier. If the call fails and you can still access your original booking provider’s support, ask that provider for a usable property contact. This may require the booking account; the sources do not establish an account-free remote recovery route when those contacts are unavailable.
Wait for the property to confirm possession and the collection point before travelling back. A report of a missing item is not a notice that it has been found.
A receiver-paid parcel is not an overseas-shipping promise
The Lotte Gimhae guide says a matched item can be sent by 택배(착불): a parcel with delivery charges paid by the recipient. That establishes neither free forwarding nor international shipment. If you have left Korea, ask the property whether it can send this particular item to your destination, which carrier and cost would apply, and whether a local collection arrangement is possible if shipping is unavailable. Confirm any required identity check and receiving address with the property before arranging someone else to collect it. The page does not promise proxy release or overseas delivery.
Keep the property’s answer and any parcel reference. If staff cannot ship the item, seek a collection arrangement they expressly accept; do not assume a forwarding company can retrieve it for you.
The holding period depends on the item
Food is discarded the same day under the Lotte Gimhae guide and is not held after that day. For other lost items, the guide says items with no separate contact are discarded after six months. Neither period proves that a particular item was found or will remain available for the entire window. Ask promptly and keep the date of your request.
If Lotte Gimhae has no match, continue with the Korean police found-item search and reporting route if appropriate. The police search and the property’s own holdings are separate checks; an empty result in one does not settle the other.
Lotte Gimhae’s Korean room guide checked October 6, 2026 KST. Confirm custody and return arrangements with the property for your item.
