Seoul Toy Library Pickup: Check Missing Parts the Same Day

If your Seoul Toy Library borrowing account is already approved, check the collection deadline and the actual toy before taking it home. The library’s service guide sends integrated-service loans to the district pickup point you chose. Its FAQ says missing components or a battery problem must be reported on the day you receive the item through the library’s online inquiry channel. Waiting until the return date can leave you responsible for a discrepancy the library can no longer verify.

Collect from the district you selected

For the city–district integrated service, choose Nearby toy library pickup and the district before reserving. Check that district library’s delivery day and opening hours. The service guide says to visit after the arrival message and collect within three operating days. The FAQ describes the integrated-service deadline as three operating days after delivery to the district library; an uncollected reservation is cancelled. If a message arrives late or the delivery date is unclear, ask the library which day starts your deadline rather than assuming the message resets it.

The integrated service lends Seoul Toy Library’s items through a district pickup point. It does not make you a member of that district library’s separate lending programme. You can check or change an eligible reservation in My Page → Loans and Reservations, subject to the live booking state.

Record a problem on receipt day

Before leaving the pickup point—or as soon as a delivered item reaches you—compare its listed contents with the pieces you received. Check visible condition, quantity, battery operation and the due date. The FAQ says the same receipt-day check also applies to courier and integrated-service loans. If a piece is missing or something does not work, submit the discrepancy through the site’s Online Inquiry that day and retain your inquiry record. After that day, the library says it cannot verify the item’s condition at handoff and holds the borrower responsible.

Not every colour or component variation means the wrong toy was issued. The FAQ says toys of the same type may differ in colour, condition or component count, and that minor missing or damaged parts that do not affect function can remain in circulation. Check the specific item’s detail page and ask the library about a mismatch; do not assume a different item or a fee waiver is automatic.

The service guide also lists 02-753-0222 or 02-753-0223 for general contact. If the online inquiry route is unavailable, ask staff how to record the issue today. A phone call alone is not stated to replace the FAQ’s online inquiry or to extend its same-day boundary.

Return to the right place, then settle any damage

For an integrated-service item collected at a district library, return it to that same district pickup point or directly to the central Seoul Toy Library. The guide does not allow return at just any district library.

If an item is lost or damaged during use, the FAQ calls for replacement with the same item or compensation under its graded amount rule. It says replacement or compensation should be resolved within 14 days after return. Until resolved, that item counts against the number you can borrow; it is not a stated ban on all borrowing. Ask the library to identify the affected item and applicable amount before paying or buying a replacement; do not assume one fee covers every toy. New borrowers still need membership approval; these pickup and return instructions do not establish that a particular foreign ID will be accepted.
