No KEPCO Customer Number? Check How Your Apartment Is Billed

First ask whether your unit has its own KEPCO contract or receives electricity charges through the apartment management statement. KEPCO’s current customer-number page says some high-voltage apartments billed through management fees have one contract for the whole building and no customer number for each unit.

When the management office owns the unit record

If electricity appears inside the management fee, ask whether the building has one KEPCO contract and whether units receive separate numbers. Repeating the individual lookup will not create a number under a building contract. KEPCO directs the resident to the management office for the unit record.

Ask for the statement for your unit and billing period. Check the meter reading or usage period, electricity charge, and adjustment. If a balance is disputed, ask which period and unit record produced it. The page does not promise a particular statement format, correction, or refund.

When the unit may have a direct contract

If electricity is billed directly, check the bill and named account holder before searching. KEPCO separates a lookup using an existing number from a search using the customer’s name, identity details, and address. The displayed fields do not establish which foreign identity documents will be accepted.

Ask the landlord or other named account holder to confirm the bill and contract record when the account is not in your name. Do not guess the building’s number, use a neighbor’s customer number, or borrow another person’s identity. A blank result does not prove that electricity is disconnected, that no balance exists, or that any charge is waived.

Recover the record that actually exists

Keep the management statement or direct bill, billing period, unit address, meter reading, and payment record together. Ask the record keeper—management office for a building contract, or KEPCO and the account holder for a direct contract—to identify the current statement and explain any unmatched period.

If the identity fields block you, keep the field names and error message. For a direct contract, ask the named account holder to check the existing bill and contact KEPCO through its official contact details if needed. For the building-contract case, ask the management office for the unit statement instead of repeating the same blocked lookup. Neither request guarantees disclosure or a charge adjustment.
