A Hallasan reservation confirmation and the trail’s current operation status are separate checks. Confirm the trail and date in your reservation, then review real-time trail information and notices near departure. A reservation does not override a closure or restriction.
Does the reservation match your trail and date?
The official Hallasan Visit Reservation System presents Reservation status separately from trail information. Open your own reservation record and confirm the chosen trail, visit date, party details, and current reservation state before planning transport around it.
Do not rely on a search result, an old screenshot, or availability seen for another date. The English home page alone does not establish that every Hallasan visit requires the same reservation process, so follow the current instructions for the actual trail and date rather than extending one booking rule to all routes.
What does the trail panel say now?
The home page also provides real-time trail information and an operation label for each listed trail. That is the place to check whether the trail is operating now, while notices can explain current restrictions or reservation changes.
Treat a captured Normal operation label as a snapshot, not a promise for a future hike. Recheck the selected trail near departure and again before entering. Weather, park management, or another condition may change after the reservation was made.
What if reservation availability and operation do not agree?
An unavailable reservation date does not by itself explain whether capacity is full, booking is closed, or a different rule applies. Likewise, an operating trail label does not prove that your reservation is valid. Read the two fields for the separate questions they answer.
If your reservation is confirmed but the live trail information or a current notice says the route is closed or restricted, do not proceed on the strength of the booking. Follow the park instruction and preserve the reservation confirmation and the notice you relied on.
Can you switch to another trail?
Use another trail only when the park currently confirms that it is operating and you satisfy that trail’s entry or reservation conditions. One route’s closure does not prove that another route is open, available, or interchangeable with the original reservation.
If the status remains unclear, use the reservation inquiry route shown by Hallasan National Park before traveling to the trailhead. The English home page lists customer service at 064-713-9953, weekdays 09:00–17:30 with a 12:00–13:00 lunch break. These are Korean local hours; an overseas call or support in your language is not guaranteed. Ask about the exact trail and date; do not guess why a date is unavailable or assume that a booking will be transferred.
Hallasan National Park’s English reservation home page was checked October 6, 2026 KST. No captured reservation or operation label in this article represents today’s or a future trail status; recheck the official page and notices for the intended trail and date.
