Check the cancellation deadline and exact amount shown for your order before confirming cancellation. Korea concert tickets do not have one universal fee schedule: the event, seller, purchase date, delivery status and cancellation time can change the result. If you want a different seat, date or payment method, the practical path may be cancel and rebook, which can lose the original seat.
Decide whether you are changing or canceling
| Your goal | Route to verify | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| Change performance date or time | Check whether the seller permits changes; otherwise cancel and book the new performance | The desired performance may sell out before rebooking |
| Move to another seat | Look for an official seat-change function; if absent, ask support before canceling | The original seat returns to inventory and may be taken |
| Use another card | Ask whether payment-method change exists; many orders require cancellation and new payment | Refund and new charge can overlap |
| Cancel one ticket in a multi-ticket order | Check whether partial cancellation is supported for that order and payment method | Online partial cancellation may be unavailable |
| Cancel after shipping begins | Read the seller’s return-arrival requirement | Online cancellation alone may not complete the return |
YES24 Global’s FAQ says a purchased performance date cannot simply be changed and instructs the buyer to cancel and rebook before the deadline, with a possible fee. Its ticket terms also state that individual products can use different cancellation fees. These are YES24 rules, not a fee table for NOL Ticket or Ticketlink.
Read the final cancellation screen as a receipt
- Confirm the correct event, performance date, seat and ticket quantity.
- Record the published cutoff in KST. An event notice can set its own booking and cancellation deadline; the ARTMS Seoul Ticketlink notice, for example, publishes a specific day-before-show cutoff for that concert.
- Review ticket price, booking fee, delivery fee, cancellation fee and displayed refund separately.
- Check whether physical tickets have shipped and whether return delivery must arrive before the cutoff.
- Save the cancellation number, timestamp and final refund amount after confirmation.
Track a refund to a foreign card
| Evidence | Who can confirm it | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Seller cancellation record | Designated ticket seller | Was the order canceled and what amount was submitted for refund? |
| Refund reference or processing date | Ticket seller or payment processor | When was the refund sent to the original method? |
| Pending or posted card credit | Card issuer | Is the credit pending under another descriptor or date? |
| Currency difference | Card issuer | Which exchange rate and foreign transaction rules were applied? |
First verify the cancellation inside the seller account. Then allow the processing period shown by the seller or event. If that period passes, ask the seller for a refund reference and give it to the card issuer. A difference between the original converted amount and the final credit can come from issuer exchange-rate treatment; the ticket seller’s KRW refund record and the issuer’s card statement answer different parts of the problem. Use the foreign-card guide for issuer-side checks.
If the cancel button is missing
Check the KST deadline, delivery status, payment type and whether the organizer has taken over cancellation after a change. Do not make a second booking until you understand whether the first can be canceled. Contact the seller through the official product page, quote the order number and save the reply. If the organizer canceled or rescheduled the event, follow its dedicated refund notice rather than assuming the ordinary buyer-cancellation fee applies.
What this page cannot calculate
BeforeKorea cannot calculate a fee without the live order screen, confirm when a foreign issuer will post a credit, or guarantee that a canceled seat can be repurchased. The amount displayed by the designated seller for your order and the exact event notice take priority. If the organizer changed the show, use the separate canceled or rescheduled concert checklist.
Organizer-initiated changes use a different evidence trail. In the N.Flying Seoul venue-change notice, existing orders were canceled for a new booking process; buyers needed that incident notice rather than the ordinary voluntary-cancellation path.
Last checked: August 7, 2026. Recheck the product page immediately before cancellation because the fee can change with time.
Freeze the exact contract before voluntary cancellation
For a voluntary buyer cancellation, the exact event page and the final screen for the exact order control the decision. Do not copy a fee ladder from another concert or assume that a general platform FAQ overrides an event-specific deadline. Save the seller, event, performance, order number, ticket issue or delivery state, KST cutoff, displayed fee and net refund before confirming.
| Contract field | Evidence before clicking | Stop condition |
|---|---|---|
| Order identity | Event, date, seat, quantity and order number | A different performance or only part of the order is selected |
| Deadline | Exact date and time in KST from the event and order screen | Only a general help-page example is available |
| Deductions | Ticket price, booking, delivery, cancellation and displayed refund lines | The net amount is not visible or understood |
| Ticket state | Mobile, on-site pickup, issued or shipped status | A physical return may be required but its arrival rule is unknown |
| Replacement | New performance availability and separate budget | Cancellation is being treated as a guaranteed seat change |
The current YES24 Global order and cancellation page routes cancellation through the buyer’s ticket account. The YES24 Global FAQ also makes clear that an exact performance can have its own conditions. Ticketlink’s official help center and event-notice list serve the same evidence role for Ticketlink orders. Use the seller named by the organizer; these links are not interchangeable fee promises.
Close cancellation with a recoverable record
- Capture the final preview before confirmation, excluding full card and identity numbers.
- Confirm once and wait for the seller result; do not repeat the request because a screen loads slowly.
- Save the cancellation number, KST timestamp, order status and net refund.
- Check the original payment method after the platform’s stated processing period.
- If the credit is missing, ask the seller for the submission date or reference, then give that record to the issuer. Neither party should be asked to guess the other party’s ledger.
A card issuer may offer a dispute process, but it is not a guaranteed refund and has its own evidence and time limits. Describe the facts accurately: voluntary cancellation, organizer cancellation, duplicate charge, unauthorized payment and non-delivery are different situations.
