Do not buy another ticket until you know the current receiving method and shipment state. In YES24 Global, open MY TICKET → Purchase Confirm/Cancel for the exact purchase number. Check whether it shows will call or overseas delivery, whether a Tracking icon exists, and whether a change control is still available.
Build one status record
Save the purchase number, event and date, receiving method, recipient name, full address and postal code, account email, tracking number, latest scan, and any displayed deadline. Keep each purchase separate: YES24’s current Global FAQ says different purchase numbers cannot be combined into one shipment.
Compare the recipient and address with the carrier record. YES24 instructs Global buyers to enter the recipient’s full name and all delivery information in English and to monitor the account email for shipment information. A tracking scan proves only that recorded state, not delivery to the correct person.
Separate two kinds of change
Changing the receiving method and editing delivery information are different controls.
- A switch to overseas delivery exists only for an eligible performance and only until 20 business days before it. YES24 says the additional delivery fee uses a card. Do not calculate undocumented holidays or time-zone extensions into that window.
- Address or recipient information can be edited only during YES24’s specified modification period, and that period may change without notice. The FAQ says PayPal orders cannot use this edit.
Global-site purchases do not offer domestic Korean-address delivery, so a hotel address is not an automatic fallback. If a switch back to will call is still offered and the event accepts it, confirm the changed method in the purchase record. Then use the YES24 will-call guide to prepare the event’s actual pickup evidence. A closed control or an event without that method cannot be overridden by the guide.
Diagnose a failed or delayed shipment
Record the latest carrier reason before contacting support: incorrect or incomplete address, recipient unavailable, customs delay, unpaid tax or storage fee, missing customs authorization, refusal, return, or disposal. Ask which state applies to this purchase rather than requesting a general reshipment. Contact the carrier through the route in the actual tracking notice and email YES24 promptly: the FAQ warns that failing to claim the package or remain reachable within five days of arrival can lead to local disposal. This is a disposal risk, not extra time guaranteed for a missed event.
Email global_yesticket@yes24.com with the purchase number, event, recipient, tracking number, latest scan, current address, and a short description of the mismatch. Do not attach a passport, full card number, security code, or one-time password unless YES24’s official support route specifically establishes why it is required.
The FAQ describes several unsuccessful-delivery outcomes and says event policy controls reshipment, which may be unavailable. It does not promise that every failed parcel returns to YES24, that a replacement will be sent, or that a refund follows. Keep the support reply and carrier evidence before deciding whether another purchase is necessary.
