Korea Concert Will Call: What ID and Booking Proof to Bring

For will call at a Korea concert, bring the original physical ID accepted by that event and a booking confirmation that can be opened inside the designated seller account. Foreign attendees are commonly asked for a passport, but the exact document list, purchaser rule and box-office hours come from the event notice. Arrive early enough to solve a mismatch before doors close.

YES24 Global’s FAQ says that will-call pickup generally requires a physical valid passport and the booking confirmation and that the individual show policy takes priority. The NuNew Seoul Ticketlink notice required identity verification for that performance and limited ticket and wristband collection to the ticket holder. That purchaser-only wording must not be assumed for an unrelated show; check yours.

Follow this order at the venue

  1. Locate the box office or identity-verification booth named in the event notice, not the nearest merchandise queue.
  2. Open the booking inside the official seller account before reaching the counter.
  3. Present the original ID and only the additional proof the organizer requests.
  4. Check the performance date, seat and any wristband or benefit before leaving the counter.
  5. Keep the ticket and wristband secure; some event notices state that lost or damaged items cannot be reissued.

If staff cannot find or release the ticket

Step out of the line and compare the order number, event date and account email. Check whether you are at the correct seller’s booth and whether the order was canceled, refunded, moved to mobile delivery or booked under another account. Show the original confirmation without exposing unrelated passport or card data. If the name differs, use the seller’s on-site help desk and preserve any case number. Do not buy a replacement from someone outside the venue while the official booking is unresolved.

Plan for poor mobile data

Save the order number and event notice in a form you can reach offline, but do not assume a screenshot alone is accepted as a ticket or membership credential. Keep the official app signed in, charge the phone and carry a power bank within the event’s bag rules. If the event uses a dynamic QR ticket instead of will call, follow the mobile-ticket guide for that separate entry method.

What this checklist cannot confirm

Having a passport and order number does not override a purchaser-only rule, name mismatch, canceled booking, expired membership or missing event-specific document. BeforeKorea cannot authorize a representative pickup. Only the organizer and designated seller can decide whether your evidence satisfies the exact performance policy.

Choose an arrival buffer from the pickup process

“Arrive early” should mean enough time for the actual collection chain: find the venue entrance, locate the correct seller booth, wait for identity verification, resolve an account problem and then join the entry line. Check when the box office opens and whether fanclub benefits or wristbands use a separate booth. A large venue can have several ticket desks serving different sellers or performance dates.

If the published booth time is missing, contact the organizer before show day instead of copying a time from an older concert at the same venue. Keep food, luggage and transport plans flexible around the collection window. Venue staff may close a booth or gate according to the event schedule even when the concert itself has not started.

The CUTIE STREET Live in Korea notice shows why this check belongs before arrival: for that event, the YES24 account name had to match identification. Your concert may define a different collection pack.

Separate proof of purchase from proof of identity

A booking record proves that an order exists; an accepted physical document proves the person named by the event rule. Neither replaces the other. Preserve the seller account, order number, performance date and collection method without storing an exposed passport scan or full card number.

Do not turn one event notice into a universal ID list

The YES24 Global FAQ generally names a physical valid passport and booking confirmation, while giving the individual performance page priority. The NuNew Seoul Ticketlink notice required purchaser-only collection and wristband identity verification for that event. The CUTIE STREET notice illustrates an event-specific account-name match. These sources show why the exact show notice must decide.

Make the recovery path before show day

Write down the designated seller, booth name, organizer contact, opening window and the exact mismatch you would report. If the order cannot be released, obtain an official case or explanation before considering another purchase. A street seller, social-media message or edited screenshot cannot repair the identity chain.
