Use only the mobile ticket inside the official app or page named by your event. Open it before leaving, update the app, charge the phone and test the organizer’s stated offline method. Do not rely on a screenshot unless the exact event notice says screenshots are accepted; dynamic QR codes and identity-linked tickets may require the live screen.
Identify the ticket type before show day
| What the notice says | What to prepare | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile ticket in seller app | Correct account, current app version and ticket availability time | An email or order screenshot is the entry ticket |
| Offline ticket feature | Follow that event’s save-and-open instructions before arrival | Airplane mode works for every seller |
| Dynamic QR | Live app access, battery and device security | A captured QR remains valid |
| Physical exchange option | Check whether exchange must occur before mobile issuance | You can switch after activating the mobile ticket |
| Identity check plus QR | Bring the original ID named in the notice | The QR replaces ID |
The NOL World offline guide for BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE instructed users of that event to save an offline ticket in a specified app version and explained how to open it without a network. The N.Flying Seoul Smart Ticket notice used a different model: Smart Tickets became available two hours before each show, and anyone wanting a physical ticket had to visit the box office before issuing the Smart Ticket. Those instructions cannot be exchanged between events.
Run a phone readiness check
- Sign in to the account that owns the booking and confirm the correct performance date.
- Update the official app from the phone’s app store, then reopen the ticket.
- Complete any offline-save process exactly as the event describes.
- Charge the phone and power bank; check that both comply with the event’s bag policy.
- Keep the original accepted ID separate from the phone.
- Record the on-site box-office or help-desk location and operating time.
If the QR will not load at the gate
- Move out of the entry line so the app can be restarted safely.
- Confirm the phone’s date and time are automatic, the network mode matches the event instruction and the account has not switched.
- Open the seller’s reservation list rather than a link from email or chat.
- If the event provides an offline feature, follow its exact offline-view sequence.
- Take the original ID and booking number to the official on-site help desk. Do not send the QR to a stranger offering to “refresh” it.
Screenshots are an event-specific exception
A past SEVENTEEN Follow to Seoul notice accepted a mobile-ticket screenshot for one stated performance because of expected data congestion. That is evidence that exceptions can be announced, not evidence that screenshots generally work. Follow the notice for your date, especially when the QR refreshes or identity verification occurs at entry.
What phone preparation cannot guarantee
A loaded QR does not prove that the booking is valid, transferable or exempt from an ID check. Device change, app-account policy and reissue rules also vary. Only the seller and event staff can recover the ticket; BeforeKorea cannot generate, store or reactivate it. For data setup, see the eSIM and SIM guide.
Do not change phones without checking the ticket rule
If you will replace, reset or repair the phone before the concert, first check whether the seller limits device changes, requires a new login or binds the ticket to an app installation. Keep the old device usable until the official transfer or reactivation succeeds. Copying the QR image to the new phone is not a substitute for moving the seller account correctly.
When the phone is lost, secure the email and ticket account before contacting a resale buyer or posting the order online. Use the seller’s official recovery path and tell support the event, order number and previous device status. If the ticket becomes visible only shortly before the show, record the on-site assistance location in advance rather than attempting an unapproved device transfer at the gate.
Last checked: August 7, 2026. Test the exact event’s ticket screen again on the day it becomes available.
Use the ticket’s own recovery ladder
| State | Evidence | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Correct app, account, show and active code | Keep the screen open and join the right gate |
| Network failure | Event offers an official offline feature | Save it exactly as the seller instructs before arrival |
| Display failure | Order exists but code is not active | Check issue time, device and seller help |
| No event exception | Only an old screenshot or another phone | Do not assume entry; use the official desk |
A mobile ticket is an event-specific state inside the designated seller account, not a reusable QR image. The NOL World offline guide required a particular app feature for one event. The Ticketlink smart-ticket notice tied issue time and paper exchange to that performance. The SEVENTEEN screenshot exception applied only to one named show date.
Protect the live code and the account
Do not post the QR, barcode, order number or logged-in ticket screen. Before changing phones, SIMs or app regions, read the exact transfer and device rule. Source review completed August 24, 2026; reopen the event notice before travel and at ticket activation time.
