A phone reservation at the Busan National Gugak Center is an unpaid hold, not a paid ticket. Call by 5 p.m. on the day before the performance, then pay at the ticket booth at least 30 minutes before showtime. An unpaid phone hold is automatically cancelled at that 30-minute cutoff.
Start with the official phone-reservation clock
The current Busan National Gugak Center ticket guide lists phone reservations at +82-51-811-0114. The phone-reservation deadline is 5 p.m. on the day before the performance; the guide does not offer phone reservation on the performance day.
At the venue, give the reservation name and contact number at the ticket booth. The booth opens one hour before the performance, but the phone hold must be paid at least 30 minutes before the start. If it remains unpaid then, it is automatically cancelled. For a 7 p.m. performance, arrive when the booth opens at 6 p.m. and complete payment by 6:30 p.m.; allow time for a queue or a rejected payment method. Check that the booth has issued the ticket before joining the entry line.
Do not combine three different ticket states
- Unpaid phone hold: pay at the booth before the 30-minute cutoff.
- Same-day booth purchase: ask what seats remain for a new purchase; this is separate from restoring a cancelled phone hold.
- Paid online booking: the center’s same-day no-change, no-cancellation and no-refund rule applies to that paid booking state, not to the earlier unpaid phone hold.
The ticket booth’s wider operating period—one hour before the performance through 30 minutes after it starts—does not extend the payment deadline for an unpaid phone reservation. Arriving after the hold is cancelled does not preserve the original seat.
If you miss the cutoff, ask about a new ticket
At the ticket booth, explain that the phone hold passed its payment cutoff and ask whether a remaining seat can be sold as a new paid ticket. Treat the answer as performance-specific inventory. The guide does not promise that the old hold can be restored or that another seat will be available.
The English guide does not promise English phone service, acceptance of a particular foreign card or an original-ID requirement for this pickup route. Confirm payment method and any pickup requirement for the actual performance without treating a successful call as proof that payment or ticket issue is complete.
