Find the date when the reservation was made before deciding what a missing row means. Busan’s Integrated Reservation notice uses the reservation date—not the programme date—to determine when an old history is deleted.
Compare the correct date
The official Busan reservation-history deletion notice took effect on September 2, 2024. It says all reservation histories more than five years old from the reservation date are automatically destroyed. The rule covers both member and nonmember reservations.
That creates two different situations:
- If more than five years have passed since the reservation date, its absence from My Reservations is consistent with the published deletion rule.
- If the reservation date is still within five years, this notice alone does not explain the missing row.
Do not count five years from the event, visit or cancellation date. Those dates may differ from the date used by the notice.
A deleted row does not rewrite what happened
The notice says an old row will no longer be visible in My Reservations. It does not say that disappearance proves the booking never existed, was cancelled, was refunded or was used.
Look for records created at the time: the confirmation, payment record, programme name, session date and any message from the operating institution. Keep copies before the five-year boundary if the history may matter later. Those records can help explain the request, but the notice does not guarantee that an institution will accept them for a refund, dispute or attendance claim.
If the row should still be within five years
First confirm that you are using the same member or nonmember route associated with the booking. Then compare the booking details with the programme’s named operating institution before assuming deletion.
Ask the institution what reservation identifier it needs and whether it still holds a record it is permitted to use. The deletion notice does not promise a restored portal row, an alternate archive or recovery after the retention period. Preserve the institution’s answer with your own dated evidence.
