A current Camellia dated ticket has two refund checkpoints. Contact Camellia by the sailing day, then complete the refund procedure through the issuing office within 30 days of the scheduled sailing. A message sent on time does not by itself prove that the second step is complete.
First confirm that these are the right terms
The current Camellia fare and cancellation page shows fares for travel from October 1, 2026 and a cancellation block for tickets with a specified sailing date. Use these checkpoints only for a dated ticket; an undated voucher or another seller’s fare needs its own terms.
Check the ticket’s seller and plan before acting. Camellia says online-reservation conditions can vary by plan and should be checked when booking. If another office or seller issued the ticket, identify that issuing office rather than assuming that any terminal counter can complete the refund.
Pass the first gate: contact by the sailing day
Tell Camellia which dated sailing and booking you want to cancel. Ask which cancellation method applies, when the request will be recorded as received and which issuing office must finish the procedure. Keep the booking number and the accepted contact record.
Camellia’s contact page lists the Japan number 092-262-2323 (international format: +81-92-262-2323). The listed Japan-office hours are Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays 9 a.m.–1 p.m., Japan time. The phone desk is closed on days when operations are suspended or special sailings run, so the calendar alone does not guarantee that a call will connect.
The page also links a passenger inquiry form. An inquiry submission is not stated to be an automatic cancellation, proof of its received date or completion of the refund procedure. Do not rely on it without confirmation tied to the booking.
Pass the second gate: finish with the issuer
After contact, complete the required procedure at the issuing office within 30 days of the scheduled sailing date. Ask what record must be returned or shown, how completion will be confirmed and where any approved payout will go. Preserve the response and completion evidence.
The published rule does not promise English phone service, successful international calling, a working online cancellation button, a refund outcome or payout timing. If the two offices give different instructions, stop and ask the ticket issuer and Camellia to identify the controlling procedure before the 30-day window closes.
