Check four facts before relying on the room
A confirmed room does not by itself confirm that you can reach it. Keep the booking reference open and compare these four records separately:

Keep baggage and boarding questions separate. Walkerhill’s transit-hotel FAQ directs through-check questions to the airline. Ask where your bag will be delivered and how you will obtain the next boarding pass; show both answers to the hotel if access remains unclear.
The FAQ gives conflicting guidance on international-to-domestic connections: one answer limits stays to international-to-international journeys, while another allows a domestic connection subject to airline confirmation. Get itinerary-specific confirmation from both parties. Do the same for separate tickets or a stay spanning different calendar dates; do not infer access from the room-search result.
The departure terminal controls which hotel to book
Read the hotel terminal beside the next flight’s terminal, not just the airport code ICN. For example, arriving at Terminal 1 does not make a Terminal 1 room suitable when your onward flight departs from Terminal 2.
This is the hotel’s booking and access rule. It does not prove that every airside transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is impossible. Incheon Airport publishes separate interterminal transportation information, but that service does not make a wrong-terminal hotel reservation valid. Use the terminal shown for the onward flight, then ask the hotel whether the exact itinerary qualifies.
The terms apply a no-show/no-refund penalty to incorrect terminal bookings. Raise a mismatch before check-in.
If you have passed immigration or collected your bag
Tell the hotel which side of immigration you are on and whether your bag is now with you. Stay where airport staff direct you; do not try to re-enter through security solely to reach the room.
Ask the airline to clarify any changed baggage instructions while you contact Walkerhill about the reservation. For a landside stay, Walkerhill’s Darakhyu FAQ describes capsule accommodation used after immigration. It avoids the transit hotel’s airside-access requirement, but you must be permitted to enter Korea and have a room confirmed. If you must remain airside, this is not your fallback: ask staff about rest facilities accessible from your current area. Before paying for an alternative, confirm its room availability, payment method and cancellation conditions separately. A failed card or uncompleted booking is not solved merely by choosing another hotel. Ask the front desk how you can pay if the online method fails; do not assume a foreign card or cash secures a reservation.

Protect the cancellation deadline while details are checked
Send a concise inquiry: booking reference; booked terminal; arrival and departure dates, flight numbers and times; current airport zone; and whether baggage collection is required. Ask two separate questions: can this itinerary use this room, and what action is needed to change or cancel it? Do not include payment-card details.
Walkerhill’s reservation-page terms allow free cancellation or modification before 18:00 Korea time on the day before arrival; late cancellation and no-shows incur 100% of the room rate. For a Wednesday arrival, that means before Tuesday 18:00, not 24 hours before your flight lands. If another seller issued your booking, check that seller’s confirmation and change process rather than assuming the direct-booking terms settle your case.
An inquiry alone is not confirmation that a booking changed. Keep the cancellation acknowledgment or the hotel’s written decision. After the deadline, ask what options remain without assuming that a flight change or unusable room creates an automatic refund.
