Copy the hall number before choosing your route. KINTEX has two major exhibition-center buildings: KINTEX 1 contains Halls 1–5, while KINTEX 2 contains Halls 6–10. Reaching KINTEX Station or the complex entrance is not the same as reaching the event check-in point.
Hall number decides the final walk
| Ticket or notice says | Building to save | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| Hall 1–5 | KINTEX 1 | Hall letter, entrance and event registration location. |
| Hall 6–10 | KINTEX 2 | Exact hall, lobby and organizer gate. |
| Event Hall or meeting room | The building and floor named by the organizer | Do not infer it from exhibition-hall numbering. |
| KINTEX only | Not enough information | Find the current organizer notice before travel. |
KINTEX’s official hall overview identifies Halls 1–5 in KINTEX 1 and Halls 6–10 in KINTEX 2 and notes a connecting moving walkway. That connection is useful, but going to the wrong building can still cost time during registration or entry.
Use GTX-A as one route, not the whole plan
The official KINTEX transportation page provides GTX, subway-transfer and bus approaches. Use the route that fits your actual origin and return destination. Check the service date, direction and final connection rather than assuming every route shown on a static page runs conveniently after a late event.
Build the arrival in four parts
- Hotel, airport or intercity terminal to KINTEX Station or the selected bus stop.
- Station or stop to KINTEX 1 or KINTEX 2.
- Building entrance to the correct numbered hall.
- Hall lobby to the organizer’s ticket booth, queue or registration desk.
Save the building in Korean and English. Our Naver Map guide for Korea helps confirm the pin, but the organizer notice remains the source for the specific entrance and event desk.
The event type changes the timeline
| Event type | Extra time to protect | Rule source |
|---|---|---|
| Concert | Ticket pickup, identity check, merchandise and standing entry. | Artist, organizer and ticket seller. |
| Fan convention | Registration, badge pickup, hall transfers and session queues. | Convention organizer. |
| Festival | Wristband exchange, security, outdoor or multi-hall movement. | Festival operator. |
| Fan-sign or benefit session | Winner verification and a strict check-in cutoff. | Exact winner or event notice. |
Do not use the hall’s normal opening hours as an event check-in time. Exhibitions and concerts can have different queues even in the same building.
Late return from Goyang needs a complete-route check
Search from the building exit time, not the scheduled end. Add crowd dispersal and the walk to KINTEX Station or the bus stop. Then check every transfer to your hotel. A fast GTX segment is not useful if the final subway or hotel connection has ended.
- Save a primary GTX or rail route and an official bus alternative.
- Keep the stop number and direction, not only the route number.
- Prepare a legitimate taxi pickup point away from prohibited loading areas.
- Choose a Goyang-area stay if one missed connection would strand you.
- Do not board a private event coach unless your booking confirms eligibility.
Use the Korea subway-app guide for the rail chain and the Korea taxi-app guide for a vehicle fallback.
Accessibility is building plus event
KINTEX publishes permanent accessibility-facility information. That can help identify parking and building features. It does not prove that a concert sells wheelchair spaces through general booking or that an organizer supplies assistance from station to seat. Contact both the event organizer and KINTEX with the hall number, date and required route.
Do not bring the airport suitcase by default
Confirm a hotel or official storage option rather than assuming a hall cloakroom exists or accepts large luggage. Our Korea luggage storage guide explains the access-hour and size checks.
Use the hall number in every support question
KINTEX has multiple exhibition halls, so a venue name without the hall number cannot settle the final station, entrance or walking time. Include the event title, date and hall when asking the organizer about ticket pickup, queues or accessibility. The permanent facility page describes the building; the promoter must still confirm how that particular event uses it.
If GTX-A is part of the plan, check the complete route from your actual hotel and the final return connection. A fast main segment does not erase transfer time, the walk through the exhibition site or crowd release. Save an alternative public-transport route and a legal taxi pickup area before the event.
Sources and scope
The August 7, 2026 verification record for KINTEX Concert and Fan Event Guide: GTX-A, Hall Number and Late Return uses the official pages below for distinct decisions; none of these links should be stretched beyond the scope stated beside it.
- KINTEX public transportation: Official GTX, subway and bus route information.
- KINTEX exhibition-hall overview: Official KINTEX 1 and KINTEX 2 hall numbering and connection.
- KINTEX accessibility facilities: Official permanent barrier-free facility information; event assistance must be confirmed.
Permanent halls and transport are separated from organizer-controlled entry and assistance.
For a late KINTEX return, compare the complete hotel route with the Korea subway apps for tourists guide and include the walk from the numbered hall.
Last checked: August 24, 2026. Reconfirm the hall, building, event entrance, GTX service and final return within 48 hours of the event.
Lock the KINTEX building, hall and transport chain
Save KINTEX 1 or KINTEX 2, the exact hall number and subdivision, the event entrance, the station exit, and the final return connection as separate fields. “KINTEX” is a campus destination, not enough information to choose the last walk or support desk.
| Question | Primary surface | Completion test |
|---|---|---|
| Which complex? | Exact-event page and KINTEX map | KINTEX 1 or 2 is written |
| Which hall? | Hall number and subdivision on ticket | Hall code is reproduced exactly |
| Which entrance? | Organizer’s current entrance notice | Queue matches the ticket type |
| Which train? | Live GTX-A and connecting operators | Direction and final transfer work |
| How to return? | Actual exit time and live service | A second complete route remains |
Use the official KINTEX hall overview to distinguish buildings and halls, and the official transportation page for the campus approach. Enter the current timetable and operations menu from the GTX-A operator homepage again on the event day; a retired deep link must not be treated as proof that service is unavailable. No permanent facility page assigns one event entrance or guarantees a late connection.
