For an M Countdown pre-recording, enter the artist’s verified space on Mnet Plus, find the notice for the exact broadcast date, and follow that notice’s application, priority, proof and check-in rules. There is no safe universal M Countdown checklist: the artist and episode notice controls, and foreign visitors receive no automatic exception for missing evidence.
Past Mnet Plus notices are examples of process variation, not current application links. Never travel to an old meeting point or copy an old item list.
Match five identifiers before opening the form
| Identifier | What must match | Common failure |
|---|---|---|
| Artist | The verified artist community and account | Following a repost or a similarly named fan page |
| Program | M Countdown named in the notice | Using a notice for a fan sign or another music show |
| Broadcast date | The exact KST date and episode | Reading a cached or past survey |
| Song or promotion | The performance named by the artist | Assuming all promotions use the same proof |
| Application window | Opening and closing time in KST | Submitting outside the stated period |
The ONE PACT notice for February 26, 2026 and the USPEER notice for July 2, 2026 were both official artist notices for M Countdown, yet they did not create one permanent set of conditions. Their value here is evidence that membership, required materials, timing, contact formatting, selection and standby treatment can be tied to the artist and episode.
Copy the live notice into an action sheet
- Write the application opening and closing time exactly in KST and set a reminder before the opening.
- Record the capacity or selection method only if the notice states it. Do not turn an application order into a guaranteed rank.
- List every eligibility and priority requirement in the same order used by the notice.
- Copy the accepted identity documents and name-matching rule without paraphrasing passport requirements.
- Record the required purchase, membership, download, streaming, light-stick or other evidence exactly; write “not stated” rather than guessing.
- Save the selection announcement time, check-in number, meeting location and late-arrival consequence.
- Add a final line for corrections so a later official update is not hidden beneath your original notes.
This action sheet should stay private because it may contain account or application information. Do not store a passport number, ticket number or another person’s contact details. A screenshot of the notice is helpful only when the live URL and publication identity are also preserved.
Check identity, account and contact compatibility
Before applying, verify that the form accepts the name and contact format you can lawfully use. A Korean phone number is not the same as Korean identity verification, and access to an app does not prove eligibility. If the route depends on account or phone setup, review BeforeKorea’s phone-number guide before you submit.
| Field | Safe entry rule | Do not do this |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Use the format required by the notice and accepted ID | Invent spaces, order or a Korean identity |
| Phone or contact | Use a number or channel the form explicitly supports | Borrow a stranger’s verified account |
| Membership | Use the applicant’s own eligible membership | Assume a membership can be shared |
| Proof | Prepare the exact product or screen named | Substitute a similar album, light stick or screenshot |
| Result | Check the official artist notice or survey state | Treat a card charge or application receipt as selection |
Use the newest check-in update
After selection, return to the same verified artist community. Check whether roll call, number order, meeting point or required items changed. Preserve the Korean location name and use a map only after matching the address. At check-in, present materials in the sequence requested and follow staff instructions on phone use, filming, wristbands, entry and exit.
Standby does not mean guaranteed admission. A selected place can also be lost through late arrival, an identity mismatch or missing proof when the notice says so. Do not argue from another artist’s procedure; show the current notice if an official correction needs clarification.
If the form, result or check-in fails
First confirm that you are signed into the same Mnet Plus account used for the application. Reopen the notice through the artist community rather than a saved survey URL alone, because a correction may have been posted separately. Save the error, timestamp and notice URL, then use the official support or artist-community inquiry route. Do not resubmit, create multiple identities or pay a person who promises selection unless the notice explicitly authorizes a new attempt.
If you miss the window, the safe recovery is to wait for another official episode. The BeforeKorea Source Library can help you rebuild the first-party trail, but it cannot reopen an artist’s application.
What this guide cannot confirm
This page cannot confirm that a particular artist will appear, that an application is open, that foreigners are eligible, that a named document will be accepted or that a selected person will enter. M Countdown production, artist priorities and check-in instructions may change. The newest exact artist-and-episode notice takes priority over this guide and every past example.
Last checked: August 7, 2026. Recheck the artist community, exact episode notice and any correction before departure.
Treat each M Countdown artist survey as an exact dated route
| Decision | Evidence | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Artist survey | Exact artist and date | Read current eligibility |
| Submitted | Application record exists | Wait for official result |
| Selected | Applicant and ID match | Prepare check-in proof |
| Expired | Only old survey remains | Do not travel for entry |
M Countdown participation is controlled by the exact artist survey and its later result, not by the Mnet Plus brand alone. The decision record was checked against Mnet Plus, ONE PACT survey, USPEER survey.
Mnet Plus artist surveys are artist- and date-specific. Different artist surveys can rank eligibility differently. A submitted survey is not a selection or admission result. Source review completed August 24, 2026. Dates, eligibility, price, inventory, access and operating rules must be rechecked on the exact current first-party page before action.
