Seoul One-Person Housing Help: Find Your Borough Booking Route

If you live alone in Seoul, or plan to form a one-person household there, start with Seoul’s safe-housing-contract guidance, then choose your borough on the one-person-household application page. The service is free, but an application link is not a confirmed consultation or home-viewing appointment.

Check whether your household fits the service

The city lists people already living in Seoul and those planning to live there, including people preparing an independent one-person household. Its application page says no proof documents are required for the service. That does not establish that the online form needs no account, phone check or identity step, or that every applicant can complete it in a preferred language.

This is practical help around a rental decision, not a substitute for legal review of a particular lease. The city lists rental-contract consultation, neighborhood search support, accompanied home viewing and guidance on housing policies. Decide which of those you need before opening a borough form; a home-viewing request and a question about a clause may need different arrangements.

Use the borough route, then confirm the appointment

On the official application page, find the borough where you need help. Each borough entry shows its own application link, inquiry phone number and consultation location. Use that entry rather than copying a phone number or schedule from another district. The page gives Monday and Thursday, 13:30–17:30, as the general regular period, while stating that individual borough schedules differ.

Evening service until 20:00 and Saturday accompanied home viewing require advance reservation; they are not a promise that every counseling service is open then. The page also says requests outside regular hours depend on a housing manager’s availability. Ask for the actual service, date, borough location and appointment confirmation before arranging a property visit around it.

If the application or language route is unclear

Use the inquiry number shown beside your borough on the official application page and describe whether you need a contract question answered or a viewing accompanied. Ask how to apply, what language is available, whether any account or phone verification is required, and what property or lease details to prepare. The page does not promise foreign-language service, an English form, or acceptance of every foreign identity setup.

Keep the borough name, property address, listing or draft lease details and any application response together. Do not treat “submitted” as “booked.” If no suitable appointment is available before a contract or payment deadline, ask the borough for the next service route and get qualified advice for the specific lease rather than assuming a later consultation protects a deposit.
