Need to Cancel One Person on a Wahyeon Oedo Boat Booking?

If one person cannot take the Wahyeon Oedo cruise but the rest of your group still plans to go, do not cancel the whole booking merely because the website has no partial-cancel button. The Wahyeon FAQ says partial cancellation is unavailable on its website but can be handled through its support team within the applicable cancellation window. Check the sailing date and contact the booking channel promptly.

Ask for one passenger to be removed

Find the reservation number, departure date and time, booking name, original passenger count and the person who can no longer travel. Tell Wahyeon’s booking support that the other passengers still intend to use the reservation. Ask whether it can remove only that passenger, what amount would be refunded under the current terms, and how the remaining booking will appear afterward. Its listed number is 1577-6951, with telephone hours 09:00–17:00 KST daily. The page does not promise English-language service; arrange language help if you need it.

The current cancellation policy states a full refund for a voluntary cancellation completed by 17:00 KST on the day before use and no refund after that cutoff. An assisted partial request still needs the seller to confirm the actual eligibility and amount for your order. Do not wait until the last minute to discover that the support hours and the refund cutoff coincide.

Keep the rest of the booking intact

After support acts, reopen the reservation or ask for its updated confirmation. Check the sailing, passenger count and remaining passengers before anyone buys a replacement ticket. If the partial request cannot be completed, ask the seller what choices remain for that exact booking; do not treat a missing web control as an instruction to void every seat.

Changing the sailing date or time is a different request. The FAQ describes general booking changes as cancel-and-rebook, which can lose the existing places if the desired sailing is full. Check replacement availability with support before releasing the original booking; changing a sailing is not the same action as removing one passenger. An operator cancellation for weather or a boat problem is also a different state under the seller’s policy; its full-refund treatment does not extend the deadline for a passenger’s voluntary change. This guidance applies to a booking made through the named Wahyeon channel, not every Oedo cruise seller.
