Contact the authorized ticket seller and organizer before the wheelchair-seat sale opens. Ask for the booking channel, companion limit, accepted documents, pickup method and venue route in writing. A venue having accessible spaces does not prove that your event sells them in the same way as another show.
Ask these questions before sale day
| Question | Why it cannot be guessed | Who should answer |
|---|---|---|
| How are wheelchair seats booked? | The channel may be phone, one-to-one inquiry or another seller process. | Authorized seller or organizer. |
| How many companions are allowed? | Limits and whether the companion needs a separate ticket vary. | Exact event notice. |
| Which documents are accepted? | Foreign documents and translations may be handled differently. | Seller customer service in writing. |
| Must the wheelchair user collect the tickets? | Proxy pickup and name matching can be restricted. | Ticket and admission notice. |
| Where is the step-free entrance? | A public entrance may differ from the event gate. | Venue plus event organizer. |
| Is assistance available between curb, security and seat? | Facilities do not prove staffing at the required time. | Venue accessibility contact. |
Current examples show variation, not a national rule
The 2026 WayV Seoul ticket announcement says wheelchair seats are reserved through a one-to-one inquiry and gives a show-specific companion limit. A separate 2026 ONF fan-meeting product described phone reservation, in-person pickup and particular document checks. These notices prove that a separate route may exist. They do not prove that your event accepts the same documents, number of companions or booking method.
Prepare an inquiry that gets a usable answer
- event title, date and session;
- ticket platform and account email, without sending a password;
- whether the attendee remains in their own wheelchair;
- number of companions requested;
- the type and issuing country of the disability document;
- transfer, lift or seating support needed;
- preferred contact language;
- arrival mode: subway, accessible taxi or private vehicle.
Ask the service agent to repeat the reservation date in KST and specify exactly what must be shown on event day. Save the response. Do not send a full passport image or sensitive certificate through an unofficial social account.
A station elevator is only one part of the route
Seoul’s official subway accessibility list can help identify elevators, ramps and accessible restrooms. The city also explains its goal of a continuous one-station, one-accessible-route. Neither page guarantees that every elevator is operating, the pavement to the venue is barrier-free, or the event’s security gate can receive you without advance contact.
Build the step-free chain
- Street or vehicle drop-off to station entrance.
- Entrance to platform, including every transfer elevator.
- Destination platform to street.
- Street crossing and pavement to the venue campus.
- Campus entrance to the event’s accessible security point.
- Security point to ticket pickup, restroom and seating area.
- Post-show route when crowd controls may change the exit.
Recheck elevator status and the event contact shortly before travel. If one transfer is uncertain, identify an official accessible-taxi or alternate-station route. Our Korea subway-app guide can help with the base route, while the taxi-app guide helps prepare a backup; neither replaces confirmation of accessible vehicle availability.
Documents and dignity
Bring only the documents the organizer has confirmed and keep originals secure. A Korean disability card may be named in an event notice even when the customer is foreign; ask what equivalent evidence is accepted rather than assuming entry or assuming refusal. If the answer remains unclear, treat the booking as unresolved and escalate through the seller’s official customer-service channel.
What this guide cannot promise
BeforeKorea cannot reserve an accessible seat, certify a route, interpret a disability document for the organizer or guarantee assistance. Its role is to help you ask the right parties early enough to receive an actionable answer. The BeforeKorea source library explains that routing role.
Keep confirmations attached to the correct performance
When support answers, save the message with the event title, date, venue and order number redacted from any shared copy. Reconfirm if the performance or ticket type changes, because a companion seat procedure for one event is not a standing policy for every booking at the building. If the reply is ambiguous, ask a closed question about the exact step that remains unresolved.
Plan extra time without treating disabled visitors as a special inconvenience. The purpose of pre-contact is to coordinate ticket pickup, entry and seating with dignity and to identify a real fallback if a lift or route changes. Emergency assistance and mobility transport may have eligibility or reservation conditions, so use the official service pages rather than assuming on-demand availability.
Sources and scope
The August 7, 2026 verification record for Wheelchair and Companion Concert Tickets in Korea uses the official pages below for distinct decisions; none of these links should be stretched beyond the scope stated beside it.
- WayV 2026 wheelchair-seat notice: Current event example: wheelchair seats use a separate inquiry route and event-specific companion limit.
- NOL World ONF fan-meeting page: 2026 event example showing phone reservation, companion and document conditions; the event has passed and is not a general rule.
- Seoul subway accessibility facilities: Official city list of station accessibility facilities.
- Seoul mobility support policy: Official city explanation of step-free routes and mobility services.
No accessible service, foreign-document acceptance or companion rule is inferred.
Use the BeforeKorea source library to separate official accessibility information from assumptions based on another event at the same building.

Close six wheelchair-ticket fields before the sale opens
Ask the designated seller to confirm the reservation channel, opening time in KST, maximum seats including companions, who must be the purchaser, original documents required at pickup, and whether the wheelchair user must remain in the mobility device. Keep the answer attached to the exact performance and sales round.
| Field | Evidence to preserve | Stop condition |
|---|---|---|
| Reservation | Phone or 1:1 inquiry, number or product page | No accepted channel for your account |
| Wheelchair user | Purchaser-name and mobility-device wording | Name or use condition cannot be met |
| Companion | Whether a separate companion ticket is required | Companion admission remains unissued |
| Pickup | Original ID and eligibility-document wording | Only a copy or translation is available |
| Route | Step-free station-to-seat chain and fallback | One transfer or entrance is unresolved |
The current WayV Seoul ticket announcement uses 1:1 inquiry and permits up to two wheelchair-area tickets including a companion, while the ONF fan-meeting product uses a phone channel and specifies a wheelchair user plus one companion. These are examples of variation, not a national rule. Use the Seoul subway accessibility list only to build a candidate route, then confirm the event entrance, queue and seat transfer with the organizer.
