Korea Concert eKYC for Foreigners: Passport and Face Verification

Complete eKYC only inside the global ticket seller named by the event. For products marked as verified-member sales, the usual seller workflow is to scan a foreign passport and take a live face image, but the accepted document, timing and eligibility belong to that seller and event. Finish early and confirm the verified status in your account before presale or general sale begins.

First separate eKYC from fanclub verification

Seller eKYC answers “is this ticket account tied to this person?” Fanclub verification answers “is this eligible membership linked to the sale account?” They can be two separate gates. The CUTIE STREET Live in Korea 2026 notice required identity verification on YES24 before membership verification and ticket purchase for that event. Another event may use a different order, so copy the sequence from its own notice.

Complete the seller’s passport check

  1. Open the exact event page or the verification area inside the official global ticket account.
  2. Confirm that the product is marked for verified members and that you are using the account intended for the attendee.
  3. Use an unexpired, undamaged passport that the seller accepts. Place the data page flat, remove glare and keep every edge visible.
  4. Review the extracted name, nationality and other fields before submission. Compare the spelling with the ticket and fanclub accounts.
  5. Take the live face image in even light and follow the on-screen movement instructions.
  6. Return to the seller account, refresh the page and verify the final status rather than relying only on the camera screen.

The YES24 Global FAQ describes a foreign-passport and face-recognition flow for selected products and recommends completing it before sale day. Ticketlink Global’s notice likewise says products requiring global identity verification display a verified-members badge and require passport verification. Do not move a YES24 verification result to Ticketlink or assume one vendor’s fee and document rules apply to the other.

Protect the passport data you submit

Use the official seller site or app reached from the event notice. Do not send passport scans through social-media messages, resale chats or a “verification agent.” Before uploading, verify the domain and the account email. If a seller asks for documents through support, start from its own help page and retain the inquiry number.

What completed eKYC does not prove

A verified account does not guarantee presale eligibility, inventory, payment success or admission. Fanclub linking, purchaser-name rules and venue ID checks may remain. The event notice and ticket page for your exact date take priority. If the displayed name differs, use the passport-name check before purchase.

If the passport will expire or has been replaced

Do not assume a verification made with an old passport automatically moves to a replacement document. Before booking, ask the seller whether it can update the verified record and what evidence it accepts. If the ticket is already purchased, quote the event and order number and ask which passport must be presented at collection. Keep the support reply with the booking, but bring only the documents the event notice permits.

Never alter an image to make an old document number match a new passport. If travel is close and support has not answered, preserve the inquiry timestamp and use the event’s official on-site help route. A pending document update is not permission to create a second identity or borrow another person’s verified account.

Current YES24 workflow boundaries

YES24 Global’s current FAQ describes eKYC for selected Verified Member Only shows: country selection, a foreign passport and face recognition. It recommends completing the process one to two days early, lists a physical foreign passport as its general accepted document, and directs Pending or Declined users to support instead of presenting a direct retry as universally available.

Current Ticketlink workflow boundaries

Ticketlink Global’s identity notice marks the requirement at product level. Its passport verification guide describes a valid passport, smartphone camera, passport scan and facial verification, notes that expired or mismatching information can fail, and says one passport cannot be used for another account. These facts apply to Ticketlink’s current verification flow, not to every Korean ticket seller.

Prepare without exposing identity data

  1. Use only the official seller domain reached from the event notice; do not upload a passport to a search-result form or messenger contact.
  2. Check expiry and the displayed Latin name before submission, then use even light and a stable connection.
  3. Do not store or publish passport images, face captures, account screenshots, barcodes or support transcripts in a public checklist.
  4. After verification, record only the seller, account alias, state, timestamp and next gate in a private travel note.

Keep eKYC and fanclub verification separate

A verified identity can still lack the membership entitlement required for a presale. Conversely, a valid membership does not prove that the named seller account passed passport verification. Follow the event’s ordered gates, and keep the language route consistent when its notice connects verification to a Korean or global sale page.

Editorial boundary: this owner explains the seller’s passport/face workflow and status decisions. It does not perform biometric verification, guarantee approval or define a universal document set. Current YES24, Ticketlink and event guidance was rechecked on August 24, 2026.
