At Incheon Airport Terminal 2, check your departure gate and the autonomous mobility vehicle’s posted endpoint before boarding. The airport’s operating guide says this service is for departing passengers, takes at most four people and does not make intermediate stops or allow intermediate alighting. Ask the staff at the boarding point whether the vehicle is operating and where that particular ride ends. If the endpoint does not suit your gate, walk or ask airport staff for an appropriate assistance route.
Match the endpoint to your gate before you wait
Read the current gate on your boarding information and airport displays. Then read the route and destination shown at the boarding point. The airport lists service around the east and west ends of T2’s third floor, with boarding-point labels E1 at Gate 276, W1 at Gate 224, E2 at Gate 280 and W2 at Gate 219. These labels help you find where to ask; they do not establish which point pairs with another point or that a vehicle will stop at your gate.
For example, seeing “E1” near Gate 276 is not enough to board if your flight leaves from a different gate. Ask staff to identify the endpoint for the vehicle in front of you and decide whether the remaining walk is useful. Do this before joining a queue or stepping aboard: the guide rules out an intermediate exit if you change your mind. If your gate has changed, use the updated gate rather than the one on an older screenshot.
Check the sign and operating window
The published schedule runs Thursday through Monday, with windows of 12:00–14:00, 15:00–17:00 and 18:00–19:30 Korea time. It lists Tuesday and Wednesday as closed. A published window does not confirm that a vehicle is running at the moment you arrive. Follow the boarding-point sign and staff directions for actual operation; if they say the service is unavailable, continue to the gate by the route staff give you.
The four-person limit can also make waiting impractical when boarding is close. Check the departure gate first, then judge the walk and your remaining time with staff. Do not count on a vehicle arriving in time for a flight or treat it as an on-demand ride.
Use the right airport route
This vehicle is an airside T2 departure-area service. It is not the shuttle for an international connection between terminals and it is not ground transport outside the terminal. If your onward flight is in T1 or the Concourse, use the Incheon international transfer guide to confirm the terminal and transfer route before moving. If you need help covering distance within T2, tell airport staff your current location, gate and boarding time and ask what assistance is available for your situation; the autonomous vehicle’s guide does not promise wheelchair carriage, baggage acceptance or priority boarding.
