National Museum of Korea Children’s Museum Sold Out? Check Another Date

If the National Museum of Korea’s Children’s Museum shows Sold Out, compare another clickable date and its five sessions before changing your plans. Admission is free, but the museum requires an online reservation and checks the reserved mobile ticket at entry. It does not offer telephone reservations or on-site ticketing. A free permanent-gallery visit does not give you access to the Children’s Museum.

What a date and session search showed

In a public, no-login check on October 4, 2026 KST, we used the Individual (2–5 person) calendar. Clicking Monday, October 5 displayed all five sessions as Sold Out. Clicking Tuesday, October 13 displayed the same session times with available-person counts. The table records that moment; counts can change and we did not make a reservation.

SessionOctober 5October 13 available persons
9:30–10:50 a.m.Sold Out289
11:00 a.m.–12:20 p.m.Sold Out170
1:00–2:20 p.m.Sold Out316
2:30–3:50 p.m.Sold Out320
4:00–5:20 p.m.Sold Out317

Start on the Children’s Museum reservation page, choose Individual for a family of two to five, select the visit date, and read each session’s current result. A count under Available is a displayed capacity at that moment, not your admission ticket. Completing a reservation requires login; this check did not test account creation, a foreign phone number, or reservation submission.

A date that cannot be clicked is not a sold-out session

The museum says individual online reservations open at 00:00, 14 days before the visit date and remain possible until 50 minutes after a session starts. In our October 4 check, dates from October 19 onward were not clickable; we did not treat them as Sold Out. Check again when the date enters the reservation window rather than interpreting an unopened date as zero capacity.

The 50-minute booking cutoff is not an arrival allowance. Plan to arrive before your reserved session begins. The museum says a reservation is automatically canceled if you have not entered within 30 minutes after the start, and an uncanceled no-show can restrict Children’s Museum visits for 60 days. If your plan changes, its stated cancellation window runs up to the session start.

If every Children’s Museum session is full

Check another open date and session. The museum limits a reservation to five people and one reservation per day, including individual and group bookings. Children under 36 months still need to be included, and admission requires a child with an adult guardian. A calendar result alone does not reserve places for anyone.

If your family must visit the main museum on the same date, the visitor information page lists free permanent galleries as a separate option; some special exhibitions are charged. Regular gallery hours are 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. Check the museum’s closure notices for your date. This is a different visit, not a way into a sold-out Children’s Museum session. For the journey, check the museum entrance and the final walking route in our Korea map comparison.
