Korea Delivery Address Guide: How to Write Hotel, Apartment, and Road-Name Addresses

Korea delivery address entry can be harder than the menu. A tourist may know the hotel name in English, but the app, rider, or restaurant may need a Korean road-name address, building name, detailed entrance, lobby instruction, or phone contact.

Verify the Korean road-name address first

Use Korea Road Name Address official English site to verify the Korean road-name address. Then add the building, unit, entrance, lobby, and handoff details required by the delivery service; the base address alone may route the rider only to the property.

Add the building, unit, entrance, and handoff detail

Copy the official Korean road-name address, building name, unit or room, entrance instruction, recipient name, and reachable contact method from the accommodation or property manager.

  • Road-name address in Korean
  • Building and unit
  • Entrance or lobby instruction
  • Reachable contact method

A hotel may allow food delivery only to the lobby. If the app says delivery is arriving but the rider cannot reach you, the food may sit at a desk, entrance, or outside. A short note and hotel policy check can prevent that awkward moment.

A useful Korean delivery or taxi address is not only the street address. It should include the building name, hotel name, floor or room rule if relevant, nearest entrance, and a phone/contact backup. For hotels, ask the front desk how they prefer food delivery or taxi pickup to be written.

Test the completed address and final map pin

  1. Search the road-name address in Korean and confirm the postcode and map pin against the property.
  2. Add the building, tower, floor, unit, room, or lobby detail in the field the app actually sends to the rider.
  3. Write a short handoff note for reception, a gate, an entrance code, or a no-room-delivery rule without exposing unnecessary personal information.
  4. Test the completed address before ordering and compare the final map pin with the intended entrance.
  5. Ask the hotel or host how deliveries are received when the app cannot represent the building or a rider cannot enter.

The base address must lead to the correct entrance

A delivery address is ready when the searchable Korean base address, building detail, entrance, and handoff instruction all point to the same place. An English hotel name alone is often insufficient.

App checkWhat it changes
Road-name addressSelect the official Korean base address first
Building and unitAdd the tower, floor, room, or apartment after selecting the base
Entrance and handoffTell the rider where access and delivery are permitted
Final map pinConfirm that the app points to the correct property entrance

For Korea delivery address, a valid base address does not prove that the app or rider can identify the building entrance, unit, or permitted handoff location.

Four separately sourced Korea delivery address fields showing the owner of the Korean road-name base, building or recipient detail, access or handoff note, and delivery-channel form or contact requirement
Build one delivery record from four separately sourced fields: a stay/host-provided Korean road-name base; an exact building, unit, or recipient line; a property access or handoff note; and the current delivery channel’s form or rider-contact requirement. One complete field cannot fill another, and a missing field remains unresolved. Field types only; no real address, name, unit, access code, or phone number. This does not prove address validity, app acceptance, building access, rider reachability, deliverability, or an outcome. Diagram by Before Korea; article inspected July 27, 2026.

If the address exists but the app cannot find it

Retry the Korean road-name address without the room or delivery note, select the correct base result, and add the remaining detail afterward.

Confirm the official address and entrance with the accommodation, then use reception pickup or direct rider contact if the service supports it.
